Our final presentation is approaching with big leaps. Do you want to get a sneak peak? Here is our tag text.
Visiting an exhibition in virtual reality which takes part at the same time you are at the exhibition gives a variety of challenges. Meet the students, seeing the work presented, feeling the buzz of people around, interaction with the people? – Of course we want that!
We focused on how to create an immersive experience with the elements we have at hand and can prepare as template before the real contents is ready to be filled in after its completion. Part of this preparation has been 3D scanning our fellow students, creation of the scenery and interaction with the artefacts seen in 3D. We wanted to avoid a static museum like impression in favour of an immersive open field and intuitive interaction and we have included a little easter egg here and there.
